DayMemo works very well on the iPhone, but it seems very different on the iPad.

On the iphone version there is pinch-and-zoom feature with automatic scrolling and automatic return. There is no pinch and zoom when the same app is installed on the iPad.

On the iPhone the clicker creates a size difference and also the is automatic magnification of the page. On the iPad the clicker creates a hand pad. I am not finding that hand pad useful.

On the iPhone the handwriting is smooth and even; not so on the iPad.

I am wondering if you can explain this difference. I am very happy with the iPhone version, but I don’t think I will get much use out of same app installed on the iPad.

Thank you very much and wishing you well.

    Sincerely,
    Barbara

    Dear Sir,

Also it seems that on the iPhone version the app can work in landscape or portrait view. Not so with the iPad version.

    Thank you again.

I have also noticed that I cannot import photos (from either the library or the camera) into the app on the iPad, although I can on the iPhone.

      Hi Barbara,
Thank you for using DayMemo and some feedbacks.
First of all DayMemo paper size is 600×900 point, iPhone5 screen size is 320×568 pt and iPhone6 is 414×736 pt.
So it has to resize in iPhone. But iPad screen size is 768×1024 pt, and it doesn’t have to resize in iPad. The behavior is by design.

I’m assuming that users use a stylus pen like adonit(www.adonit.net). That’s why DayMemo creates a hand pad in iPad to rest your hand.

I confirmed that the import function doesn’t work property. I will release next fixed version by v2.1, because I’m waiting for approval of v2.0 by Apple.
